SOLAIR
The objective of SOLAIR is to promote and to strengthen the use and market implementation of solar air-conditioning (SAC) systems. Focus is given – in addition to other current projects in this field – to small and medium sized SAC systems in the residential and commercial sector, combining domestic hot water supply and space heating with air-conditioning.
SOLAIR intends to resolve some major market obstacles, which are a limited awareness on know-how and available instruments in this field and the lack of available homogeneous sets of information.
Based on previous project results and acquired know-how, SOLAIR will create a set of instruments to assist the market growth of these technologies.
Major results of the proposed project will be:
- Completion of current running SAC projects.
- Contribution to achieve the EU RES-Heat objectives.
- Stimulation and involvement of key market actors for the market implementation of SAC - applications.
- Well-informed and well-trained multipliers for SAC applications.
- Increased awareness and targeted information transfer about the benefits of small and medium sized SAC applications.
- Transfer of RTD know-how to key market actors.
