The Ente Vasco de la Energía (Basque Energy Board) hosts the following informative conference organized with the aim of publicizing the details of the second call of the European Commission program "Intelligent Energy for Europe 2007-2013".
This program has a non technological and aims at the implementation of policies and objectives of the EU and the creation of means and instruments that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy and energy diversification. Since 2003, EIE has awarded funding to more than 400 European projects in the areas of buildings, industry, transportation, cogeneration, cities, raising awareness, etc..
This call, which will remain open until late June 2008, has a budget of approximately EUR 47 million. The selected proposals will have financial support amounting to 75% of total eligible costs
